Carpeted bunks wear out and drag against your hull. Amber polyvinyl rollers trade that drag for a smooth, easy glide, even in shallow water. Made to last a lifetime, they resist sun and water without marking your boat.

Highlights

  • Upgrade from Carpet: Replace worn, soggy bunks with rollers that keep your boat moving smoothly at the ramp.
  • Roll Instead of Drag: Rollers let your boat glide on and off like it's on wheels, making shallow-water launches easier than with carpeted bunks.
  • Keep Your Brakes Dry: Because you won't have to back into deep water, these help keep your truck's tires and brakes drier.
  • Poly Rollers for Longevity: Amber poly rollers resist water, sun, and salt better than carpet or rubber, and won't mark your hull.
  • Made to Last: Galvanized steel resists rust and corrosion.
  • Flexible Mounting: Choose the hardware and brackets (sold separately) that fit your trailer.

Features to know about

Smooth Rolling Instead of Dragging

Tie Down poly rollers

Would you rather push a box across the floor or move it with a dolly? That's the difference roller bunks make compared to carpeted ones. Each 5' bunk has six amber poly rollers that let your boat roll smoothly on and off your trailer. The rollers are designed to cut down on drag and make launching and loading faster, so you spend less time fighting with worn-out carpet and more time on the water. Poly rollers also stand up to repeated use without breaking down as quickly as carpet or rubber, giving you reliable performance season after season.

Durable Galvanized Steel Construction

Tie Down galvanized steel

The frame of each bunk is built from heavy-duty galvanized steel, which is specifically designed to stand up to wet, harsh environments. Galvanizing provides a protective zinc coating over the steel, helping to prevent rust and corrosion season after season. That makes these roller bunks a great choice for freshwater or saltwater use, since trailers spend so much of their life exposed to water and weather. A solid steel frame also means you get consistent, full-length hull support, so your boat sits securely whether it's on the road or stored in the driveway.

Adjustable to Fit Your Hull

No two boats sit on a trailer exactly the same, which is why these bunks are built with vertical adjustability. Being able to move the bunks up or down means you can dial in the setup so it matches the unique shape of your boat. For even more flexibility, you can add optional bolster support swivel brackets (sold separately). Those brackets allow the top plate to pivot, giving you the ability to angle the bunks so they contour more closely to your hull. This adjustment helps distribute weight evenly across the rollers and makes loading more predictable, especially for boats with deeper or more angled hulls.

Video Transcript for Review of Tie Down Boat Trailer Parts - Roller Bunks Boat Trailer 5 Feet Poly Rollers - TD87FR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at these Tie Down Roller Bunks for your boat trailer. Now maybe loading and unloading your boat has been kind of a pain with your current setup. Maybe the wooden bunks just don't glide like they used to. Maybe the carpet's starting to wear down and fray.

And so that's where these roller bunks are going to come in. These are 5 feet long each with six amber poly rollers each, meaning that instead of dragging your boat across the carpet, the boat's going to roll very smoothly on and off of your trailer. Another big plus is that the rollers are made from poly instead of rubber, so that means that they're not going to scuff or mark up the hull of your boat, and they're gonna hold up better against water, sun, and salt. So basically less maintenance and a longer lasting upgrade. The frames are crafted from heavy-duty galvanized steel.

And let me go ahead and just give you an overhead view just to kind of give you another perspective here and flip this over so you can see. So that heavy-duty galvanized steel's gonna give you a robust and full hull support ensuring that your boat is well protected during transport and storage. And these are also going to give you vertical adjustability. And so that's going to allow you to customize the setup to match your boat's specific requirements. Optimal bolster support swivel brackets will further enhance flexibility.

It's going to ensure a perfect fit for various boat sizes and types. This does not include any mounting hardware, just so you know that. And the reason no hardware comes with this is so you can choose the hardware that's gonna best suit your trailer and installation preferences and your particular application. But we do carry the hardware and the brackets that you're looking for here at etrailer.com. So you can find that on our website or give us a call, and we'll walk you through that process if you are in need of that hardware.

So, again, you're gonna get these two roller bunks with one, two, three, four, five, six rollers on each bunk. Again, they're 5 feet long, so, at the end of the day, it's about making your boat loading safer, easier, and protecting that finish of your boat with these poly rollers. And so this is going to help you do all that. And if you, like I said, if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do have other lengths available. We do have roller bunks with the the rubber rollers instead of the poly if you would prefer that. So just let us know. But I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Product is great, need to improve on the shipping box. One end was completely open; staples did not hold at all. One or two wraps of heavy filament tape lengthwise of the entire box might help.
